Konsul, consul. – der vorjährige, vorige K., qui proximo anno consulatum gerebat: gewesener K., vir consularis u. bl. consularis: zweimal K., bis consul: zum zweiten, dritten etc. Mal K., iterum consul, tertium consul: den K. betreffend, Konsul-, consularis: jmd. [1476] zum K. erklären, alqm consulem declarare: jmd. zum K. machen, alqm consulem facere: jmd. zum K. ernennen, alqm consulem dicere (bes. vom Volke): jmd. zum K. erwählen, alqm consulem creare (bes. von dem die Wahlkomitien leitenden Magistrate). – Konsuln wählen, consules creare (z.B. ex plebe): Konsuln nachwählen, consules sufficere. – K. werden, consulem fieri, dici, creari (s. vorher): ich werde in meiner Familie zuerst K., primus ex mea familia consul fio; primus in meam familiam oder in meam domum consulatum affero.
